Respect : regard for the feelings and rights of others
Dignity : quality of being worthy of respect

You are working on a unit where there are a number of people with a diagnosis of dementia. It is lunchtime and you notice one of the ladies, Betty, is trying to eat her soup with a fork. Betty is managing to get very little of the soup into her mouth and most of it is pouring down her chin , over the table and down her clothes.
