PARENT POWER??
From the news: "A west Auckland woman who sprang to the defence of her 13-year-old daughter when attacked by school bullies was remanded without plea on a charge of assault today. Mellissa May Anderson, of Helensville, appeared before community magistrate Dianne Hale in the Waitakere District Court, for allegedly assaulting one of her daughter's teenage bullies. She was remanded until December 20 to allow time for disclosure of evidence. The New Zealand Herald reported the woman's daughter, a pupil at Kaipara College, was bullied by four other girls last Friday while she waited for the bus. A nearby neighbour gave shelter to the girl until her mother arrived. According to the Herald, when Anderson arrived she chased after the bullies and slapped one." Did the mother do the right thing?
It is proposed that the mother was right to slap her daughter's bully
