PARENT OR CHILD: WHO
Jenny is 15 and has found a breast lump. This is very unusual in such a young person.

The lump turned out to be non-malignant (not cancer) but the doctors removed it in case it caused a problem in future.

Jenny's Mum died of breast cancer aged 42 last year and Jenny is terrified of the disease. She is acutely aware that Angelina Jolie and other celebrities have had both breasts removed as a precaution and now cannot get breast cancer.

Jenny has now told her Dad she wants both of her breasts removed. Her father is horrified and says he will not allow this - which is his legal right, as things stand.

What do you think? Do you agree with the proposal?

It is proposed that Jenny should be allowed to have the operation
