BAN THE BEGGARS?
The Auckland Council is voting on a bylaw which could see beggars, illegal windscreen washers and buskers banned from the streets.

The reason for the bylaw is to ensure the public feel safe on the city's streets, as for some, beggars and windscreen washers can feel intimidating.

But there is also an argument that beggars etc are also part of our community and should be entitled to freely ask for money, especially given that many are homeless and without work and income.

What do you think?

Should we support beggars or ban them?
