There is continuing debate about what Australia should do about asylum seekers and refugees.
Neither of the main political parties want to accept these people, even if they are genuine refugees.
Kevin Rudd (Labor) has recently announced a deal with Papua New Guinea (PNG) and has launched an expensive advertising campaign which says: "If you come here by boat without a Visa you will not be settled." There is concern amongst some observers about living conditions in PNG and the human rights record there.
Tony Abbott (Coalition) proposes to have the military turn boats away and if necessary two them to Indonesia.

What do you think of Rudd's and Abbott's policies? (Rudd - send them to PNG; Abbott - send them to Indonesia)
What should be done with genuine asylum seekers to Australia?
