Are children being pushed too hard by their parents?
We live in a society where our parents push and push their children to perform at their peak, and unfortunately to achieve this the child's wants are mostly neglected. This has an effect on children and teens now. Some kids can take the pressure and push on through, others simply collapse and fall into their own little world. I know this for a fact as I have worked with, and talked with many many hundreds of different students in the wellington region alone, and I know it when I say that far too many students are being pushed to the edge of either collapsing and falling down to doing nothing, or even going as far as to hurt themselves to "ease the pain" Sending them to a youth line will not help, I have tried this, I have tried telling many people to tell many more people to attempt this method, it just does not work. Students require someone to talk too, someone who is their age and can completely understand where they are coming from! This must stop ladies and gentleman! I implore you to have your say here!

It is proposed that every college should have a set group of STUDENTS dedicated to listening and helping students who need to let it out!
