Jo makes an appointment to see you, a clinical psychologist at a private practice, to address her anxiety problem that she has struggled with for years. When booking the appointment, Jo expresses she may not be able to afford the fee but may be willing due to high recommendations. You realise you have some mutual friends and that Jo is a local artist, but never socialised together. You have seen her art and like it.
At the first meeting, after working through the numbers, Jo decides that she cannot afford to pay for the discounted sessions even for once a week or once a fortnight. Jo proposes to you that you barter some of her artwork, valued at the local gallery's price, for weekly therapy sessions at the regular fee.
It is proposed that you accept the artwork in for payment of Jo's sessions
