AFL coaches get sacked after big losses or losing streaks.
Brett Ratten was sacked by Carlton FC when they lost to the newcomers Gold Caost suns in 2012 on saturday the 25th of August. They were definatley expected to win with a huge amount of experience over the newcomers and lost by 12 points. Shortly after the devastating loss Ratten was sacked and replaced by former Collingwood premiership coach Mick malthouse.
Was it Rattens fault? or was it the players fault?
